"Yuuuuushi, what are you doing?! Who cares what Shishido's up to, you promised me strawberry milk, damnit!" Gakuto whined, pulling on Oshitari's arm after school. Gakuto's rather amused and busy doubles partner had promised to take him out for food after school today as a way to escape the flow of fangirls, who were still hunting the Regulars down, and also a way for Oshitari to do some mushy Valentine's Day thing without getting killed by his partner.
"Oh shush, Gakuto, you know you're just a curious as me."
"I am not. I told you, he's the uke, which means that he'll give chocolate to Ohtori sometime today." Gakuto said it in a way that said the matter was closed and continued to pull on Oshitari's arm. "Now let's go."
"If that's so, then why didn't you give me any chocolate?" Gakuto didn't dignify that with a response, he just hit Oshitari over the head and plopped himself on the ground. Resigning himself to wait until that loser Shishido got over himself and just gave the gift to Ohtori already. Jeez, what was wrong with him!
Shishido paced around the clubroom. Atobe had cancelled the day's practice to avoid the hordes of fangirls that would crowd around and cause a disturbance anyways.
He was in mental turmoil at the moment; it was Chouatou's birthday and he had bought his... partner a gift, so that wasn't the problem. The problem was that he had completely forgotten that February 14th was also Valentine's Day until he'd practically been rained with gifts upon opening his shoe locker that morning.
So, he wanted to give his gift to Ohtori, but he didn't want his partner to think that... because they weren't like that... Really! Okay, so they were, but it was a birthday gift, not a sappy Valentine's Day present. So what if it had red wrapping!? Red was a lucky color damnit!
On top of that, all of his previous attempts to give it to Choutarou had been spoiled by one of seemingly thousands of girls that wanted to give "Ohtori~~kun" a package of homemade chocolate. The last he had seen of his partner (and FINE, his LOVER are you all happy?!??!?!?!) he had been buried in another wave of said girls who all wanted him to eat their homemade lunches. He sighed and finally stopped pacing, leaning against one of the cool walls.
"Well speak of the devil..." Shishido thought as he saw Choutarou dash around the corner of the building and glance behind him to make sure that no one had followed him. When Choutarou turned around and finally saw that Shishido was there, a bright smile spread across his face.
"Shishido-san! You look like you've only just escaped them too." Choutarou chuckled as he approached and Shishido resisted the urge to run away. It was now or never.
"Ahh... Uh... Choutarou.." Shishido blushed and held out the small red-wrapped package. "Happy Birthday Choutarou."
"Thank you, Shishido-san, you didn't have to..." Choutarou took it and blushed furiously. He held up to eye level and shook it. Shishido winced and was suddenly very glad he hadn't gotten the little porecelain cat figurine. Then, without warning (as if there ever was) Choutarou launched himself at SHishido and hugged his tightly. Before Shishido could protest that his ribs were hurting, Choutarou took control of his mouth and momopolized it's use for the next few minutes.
When he was finally able to breath again, Shishido had completely forgotten everything that he had been about to say. So, he settled for looking at Choutarou, who had the most devious expression on his face. His partner, friend and lover leaned down to whisper in his ear and Shishido instantly regretted ever buying the gift in the first place.
"Hmm, it's Valentine's Day, I guess this means you're on bottom by default, tonight."
