N/V/A/ Manual Labor Challenges

First Challenge: N/V/A

A technical challenge. We’re going to look at the parts of speech. This is a delight for those of you who are good at this.

N - Noun

V - Verb

A - Adjective

Many words can be used as more than one part of speech - just conjugate. And then there’s those that need no conjugation.

He stared into Edward’s gold eyes. “Did you bring me the gold?”

Chose a word that fits more than one part of speech (you can conjugate it if necessary) and make that your theme. Time is 60 minutes if you use it as two different parts of speach, 90 minutes if you use it all three. Yes, I’m keeping this relatively simply by only chosing noun, verb, adjective.

Second Challenge: Manual Labor

Write a story which centers around manual labor. Manual labor must be the primary theme in your story; having one of your characters polish a table for 2.5 seconds and then going off to a club does not cut it. Manual labor (meaning “done with the hands”), can count as anything from office work to putting caps on bottles of Jim Beam, as long as you stay within the definition.

“1 day roy went to werk and typed stuff and caem home n went to sleep” is boring. Be creative! Have fun with this.

You have 60 minutes.

Silence is Golden (CCS, PG-13, yuri)

Title: Silence is Golden
Author: sakuracorr
Fandom: CCS
Type: yuri
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: CCS belongs to the wonderful creative team of CLAMP
Challenge: N/V/A
Time: 25 minutes
Notes: I'm kind of new here, and since I have no yaoi-friendly manga (in my terms), I'm writing yuri until I buy some (which I plan to do). If you find small mistakes, I did read through twice and try to edit.
